We want to hear from you so the history of Rye Airfield doesn’t fade away. By submitting content (story/photo/videos/links etc.) you agree to let Rye Airfield share the same content on RyeAirfield.com and to promote the content through social media. If you ever want the content removed, send us an email so we can make that happen.
Our goal is a blog post for each submission and to create a searchable database of tags from things like Ramp Camp, events, ramps by name etc.
There are a few basic guidelines for submissions.
Tell us a little about yourself, span of time you visited the park (ie: April, 2002 - December, 2020), what you did (skateboard, bike, inline, scooter, cause trouble, all of the above).
Keep stories to less than 5000 words and PG-13
Limit images to no more than six(6) and optimize them so the file size per image is no larger than 250kb. We will not publish larger images. All images need to include the name of the photographer(s) and who is in each photo (Left to Right is usually the best).
Videos need to be provided through a link, YouTube will work best because we can add them to our channel while also embedding them into the site.
